Ordering
We recommend viewing a physical sample before ordering, as most screens do not show true colours.
While our quality control systems are designed to keep colour variation within normal industry tolerances, the tones of all natural fibres may vary slightly between batches and samples may change a little over time. For carpet orders where an exact colour match is required, please request a stock cutting. If joining carpets, please ensure at the time of order that you request cuts from the same batch.
Size tolerance
For carpets please always order 3% more than is required both on length and width.
For inset locations order oversized broadloom and cut in on site.
General
Natural fibres may fade over time, this may be accelerated by exposure to direct sunlight.
Fitting carpets
Our high quality carpets tend to be thick, dense and therefore heavy, so please ensure plenty of labour to move and fit them.
Hibiscus carpets should always be installed by professionals. They may be stretched onto grippers over good quality, solid underlay. They may also be stuck directly to the floor or fitted over underlay using the double stick method.
Installing rugs
A quality underlay beneath your rug will eradicate slippage and can reduce wear. Hibiscus offers non-slip rug underlay suitable for rugs laid over carpets or hard floors.
Rugs
Made-to-measureOur UK rug workshop can make every Hibiscus texture into a made-to-measure rug in just 2 – 5 weeks. Simply use our rug estimator to select your favourite texture, choose between a statement border, subtle or whipped edge, and generate an instant quote.
